About our home region
Oxfordshire is the birth-place and home of ENCANVAS. Oxford’s economy includes manufacturing, publishing and science-based industries as well as education, research and tourism. Oxfordshire has been an important center of motor manufacturing since Morris Motors was established in the city in 1910. It is now the principal production site for Mini cars, owned by BMW since 2000.
