MASS is a collection of enhancements made to the Encanvas platform to ensure that your app platform can scale to tens, if not hundreds, of applications and software robots. It’s about neat client-server loadings, thoughtful use of in-memory processing, replication and cloud containers, remote deployment support and a whole lot more. There are (almost) no technical limits to the scale of your deployment.

Encanvas No-Code was named after our ENterprise CANVAS application file format at the heart of our architecture. Think of a canvas as a ‘document format’ for web portal applications. It’s a useful building block for the whole or part of an application. Working with canvases is easy because they’re designed for citizen developers. Designers see no code or script so it’s easier to design better applications faster!

Encanvas began life as a mashups platform in the dot-com era which means it offers multi-threaded, multi-sourcing and multi-linking. All that means is you can harvest data from various platforms at the same time without sessions dropping off, then select specific rows from each source to blend together when creating a new application.

Designed with the needs of business analysts and citizen developers in mind, Encanvas Create is a No-Code/Low-Code/High-Code Integrated Development Environment (IDE). The use of a building block ‘drag-and-drop’ abstraction layer means designers see no code or script. The power of the Create IDE lies in its ability to address all aspects of creating an application, while separating ‘IT admin’ and ‘Look-and-Feel’ matters best dealt with in a holistic way by more expert IT professionals.
