Encanvas Create is a code-free Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that produces a ‘canvas’. A canvas is an XML-data structure that describes every aspect of how data is to be used and presented – including data management and security privileges – in a single, distributable file. Canvases can be deployed as ASP.NET portal applications or as Windows Mobile .NET framework stand-alone solutions. Use of canvases means that data never leaves the security of a robust IT environment and a master data management policy can be adopted for all business critical information across the enterprise.
